Well I put all 90 cells on the roof today to see what would happen, and well some odd results. I put a 55w bulb on the regulator to put some load on it (4.6A) to see if that would make any differance. Results With no Bulb on the charge to the battery peaks at 5.5A, this isnt great as the panels should produce anything up to 25A technically. With the Bulb on (4.6A)I get up to 10.2A, much better but still al ittle short. Conclusion I dont think the battery can take anything more than 5.5amp which is why when the bulb is on the charge to the battery increases inline with its draw(5.5A (solar) + 4.6A(bulb load) = 10.1A). So as per usual i still dont know what im producing
but its something over 100watts which is a fair start. Update I managed to find a laptop power supply for a car and hooked that up too, it produced (with the bulb) 10.4A load. The solar ampage increased slightly 10/12A so im still a little unsure of what im getting, its been hovering around 10A allday, no matter what angle the sun is at which equally seems a little odd. Need to attach them to a leasure battery or something designed to take more of a rapid charge, then i might know whats going on. Update 2 Decided to test each panel individually today and found that they basically have the same output as each other, thats how it should be but as they were B grade cells its worth checking.
